Welcome to Hallettsville Junior High School! Home of the Yearlings and Lady Yearlings!

HJHS is a 5^th – 8^th grade campus located in beautiful Hallettsville, Texas. Approximately 375 students are enrolled on campus.

Our goal is to provide each child with a successful education experience in a safe, orderly, and well-disciplined environment. HJHS staff strives to prepare our studnets for high school during the transition years of junior high school. Hallettsville Jr. High School’s philosophy is to “Reach Every Learner” by providing a well-balanced curriculum, differentiated instruction, and a risk-free environment that will ensure the success of all students. The junior high staff will empower each student to reach his/her learning potential in preparation for real-world applications, which include responsibility, trustworthiness, respect, caring, fairness, and citizenship.

District resources have been invested in computer technology to broaden instruction and to prepare students for an increasing computerized society. The staff delivers the best teaching practices in a nurturing and engaging environment. With our new campus additions and remodeled facility, HJHS is able to meet the needs of all students.
